CONSTRUCTION LAW ATTORNEY

Daniel Kennell is a dedicated construction law attorney at Herman & Wells, focusing exclusively on construction litigation. He represents homeowners and contractors in construction defect disputes, contract disputes, breaches of contract, and construction lien matters.

Prior to joining Herman & Wells, Daniel worked at a boutique property law firm, where he also clerked throughout law school. Recognizing a growing need for specialized construction law representation, he played a key role in creating and leading the firm’s construction law division. Since being admitted to practice law in 2022, Daniel has focused entirely on construction litigation, successfully representing clients in complex construction defect and contract disputes.

Daniel began his undergraduate studies at the University of Denver before returning home to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida in 2019. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2022.

Born and raised in Florida, Daniel grew up in a rural area of Lake County on Sugarloaf Mountain. Witnessing residential development in his hometown and across the state sparked his interest in construction law. He is passionate about responsible development and helping homeowners protect one of their most significant investments – their home.

Outside of practicing law, Daniel is an avid Florida Gators and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also enjoys supporting his local minor league team, the Clearwater Threshers. When he’s not following sports, Daniel spends his time outdoors, fishing, and traveling with his wife.
