A native of the Tampa Bay area for more than thirty years, Rob has devoted the majority of his legal career to standing up for homeowners in disputes with property insurance companies. At Herman & Wells, his practice is focused exclusively on holding insurers accountable and ensuring that property owners receive the compensation they need to recover and rebuild after losses.
Rob began his academic journey at the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He remains active in both alumni associations and proudly supports each school’s athletic programs.
After law school, Rob returned home to the Tampa Bay area and began his legal career at a boutique firm in downtown Tampa handling products liability and medical malpractice defense. He then went on to work for one of the largest firms in Florida representing homeowners in first-party property insurance disputes, gaining extensive experience advocating for clients against powerful insurance carriers. Over the years, Rob has represented hundreds of property owners, served as a solo practitioner, and worked with several well-respected firms across the state—all with the same mission: to fight for those facing unfair treatment from insurers.
Outside of practicing law, Rob is an avid sports fan of all the Tampa Bay area teams, especially the Bucs. He also enjoys golf and cherishes time spent traveling and making memories with his two children.
