Paralegal

With more than three decades of experience in the legal field, Robert R. Anderson brings unmatched depth, professionalism, and precision to his role as a paralegal at Herman & Wells. A Florida Registered Paralegal, Robert has dedicated his career to advancing the standards of legal support and ensuring that every case is handled with care, accuracy, and efficiency.

Robert’s legal journey began in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Legal Specialist and later as Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Criminal Law, overseeing legal procedures, supervising staff, and developing training programs that earned him multiple Army Commendation Medals and recognition for innovation and leadership. After transitioning to civilian practice, Robert continued to distinguish himself through a long and accomplished paralegal career, working in civil litigation, personal injury, and family law, and assisting attorneys through every stage of trial preparation and courtroom support.

A lifelong learner and educator, Robert was very active in the Florida Association of Legal Support Specialists (FALSS) as well as the St. Petersburg Association of Legal Support Specialists. During his time with FALSS, he presented numerous continuing legal education seminars and served in nearly every leadership position within the organization — including President, Vice President, and Director of Education. He is a two-time Legal Support Specialist of the Year award recipient and has authored multiple professional articles on law office management and legal procedure.

Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies (Summa Cum Laude) from Everest University and an Associate in Arts from Monterey Peninsula College. His attention to detail, mentorship, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to the Herman & Wells litigation team.

Outside of the office, Robert enjoys woodworking and cabinetry, golfing, and testing his knowledge as a self-described trivia junkie.
