2026 Power of Listening Scholarship
At Herman & Wells, listening to clients is a core part of effective advocacy and legal representation. The firm understands that behind every legal matter is a person whose story deserves to be heard. Through this scholarship, we invite students to share their perspective on how active listening can improve outcomes in professional environments and why being heard can make a meaningful difference.
The 2026 Power of Listening Scholarship encourages students to reflect on the role active listening plays in complex systems such as healthcare, education, government, and the legal profession. In high-stakes situations, professionals are often expected to provide answers quickly—but meaningful outcomes often begin with truly understanding the people they serve. Listening carefully can uncover critical details, build trust, and lead to more thoughtful and effective decisions.
