Bill is a proud Florida State University alumni, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1994. He then went on to graduate Cum Laude from Stetson College of Law in 1997, where he initially honed the skills he uses every day as a practicing attorney.

After law school, Bill worked as an insurance defense attorney for over a decade, representing insurance companies, governmental agencies, and large self-insured companies on disability and insurance matters. During his time working on behalf of these corporations, he witnessed firsthand their neglect and mistreatment of consumers and citizens.

In 2009, Bill made the decision to devote his legal practice to fighting for individuals who have been injured, disabled, or denied their benefits by insurance companies, the government, or employers.
